S.P.O.C.K. fb 27 Nov 2013:
"The year is coming to an end and thus our 25 Year Mission too. We'd like to wrap it all up with some great news!
Our SubSpace music catalog has been digitally available for many years. But it's been chaotic – bad cuts, poor graphics, stran...ge metadata, missing titles, inconsistent pricing, et cetera. So, the final assignment of 2013 will be to regain control of it all!
First out is the correction of our smash hit album "Assignment: Earth" and its two associated singles "Alien Attack" and "E.T. Phone Home". They have been available previously, all on one release, the American edition of the album, with a special cover. But now they are re-released as they originally were. And while at it, they've all been remastered! Finally all those amazing tracks, including "Meanwhile..." and "Romulan Ale", sound awesome and guarantee a great party :D
Not only are the original coherent covers back on track but also in super-duper high resolution (where applicable)! All tracks have been cut for optimal digital experience, names and versions are correctly displayed, prices are mild and overall logical.
The "Assignment: Earth" package is out now and should be available at your favorite legal digital provider. If not, it soon will be – it's spreading, as it should, as the title suggests! Below are a few links; we're aware that those don't cover all of our worldwide fans – these are merely examples, as we can't list each and every outlet. But rest asure: AE, AA and ET should be found almost anywhere you want it!
We're really happy doing this and hope you'll enjoy it too! Stay cool, more to follow shortly :)"

S.P.O.C.K. fb 30 Dec 2013:
"Here's the sixth control station on our current mission: "Earth Orbit: Live"!
This one was recorded, and originally released, during one of our busiest years ever, 1997 (followed by some more really hectic years), at what some consider the height of our career.
We do of course disagree – every day is our best day ever. However, we all agree that we're one heck of a live act – all thanks to you people out there!
So, we're really happy to have made this one and do feel that it truly captures the great atmosphere we share with you over and over again.
Not only is the album out of print since long and never released digitally previously – it's currently also the only digital release upon which you can enjoy really old classics,
such as "E-lectric", "Astrogirl" – and, of course, "Never Trust a Klingon"!
Available now at your friendly digital legal provider and/or at [http://open.spotify.com/album/7dbmtaIZsDZpsSPfVSf6fJ], including an awesome hires cover, in line with the other releases the very same year, and optimized cutting."

S.P.O.C.K. fb 9 Dec 2013:
"On our current Digital Cleanup Mission we've reached the third outpost: "S.P.O.C.K: 1999" and its hit single "Dr McCoy"!
No need for remastering, sound was fabulous from day 1, and both have been out there, in the digital world, since long....
What we've done is, as you've learned, to provide them with mega high resolution covers (where applicable), adjusted the prices (in your favor) and cut them into optimized pieces.
Especially the album was in great need of such a treatment – the original CD was sort of mixed together, and the digitizing process back then was out of our hands and thus terribly executed.
We've regained control and now all tracks are carefully split up, allowing separate pleasures in a suitable fashion.
Enjoy "Dr McCoy" in German (not even the Germans understood it), live favorite "Out There", an Android orgasm and much much more!
Available now (or soon) at your legal digital provider of choice, perhaps it's one of any listed below.
And you know what? This isn't it – there's still more to come! :D"
S.P.O.C.K. fb 1 March 2024:
"S.P.O.C.K: 1999 * 25 YEAR * /
On this very day, 25 years ago, we released our fourth studio album “S.P.O.C.K: 1999”!
Holy smoke, it’s a long time ago… but, the album still lives on, due to us refusing to quit!
And, most of all: you fans keeping us alive. So, cheers to us all!
As always there are tons of stories surrounding the creation of this masterpiece (we just can’t cut stories short – for the sole reason us being so creative and detail oriented)!
We’ll have to save them for an upcoming book, or something. But here are a few extracts:
The title: well, pretty obvious. So far we had released an album every second year, and we only had one shot at naming it the way we did *and* actually release it accordingly
(locic dictates: it came out in 1999!)
However, there had been turmoil on the bridge: two key players had left the band prior, and in came a new fresh crew!
Despite – or because of – the lineup change, we were extremely creative, and did indeed stick to the schedule!
Not only that: we spent more time than ever (to that point) in the studio, writing, recording, editing, polishing, like crazy – all on our own!
And, we’re utterly proud of what we achieved: we continued the path of developing our sound and production, and delivered an updated version of S.P.O.C.K – which is exactly what *we* wanted!
And, the efforts paid off : the album was awarded "Album of the Year" at the Swedish Alternative Music Awards!
Oh, the amount of details on the album alone! We can easily point at a gazillion things in each and every song, and talk for ages about them!
Some were done for the shear fun of it (e.g. experiments), some for quality purposes.
One mixture of all that is the composition of songs, and the transition between them: there’s none of those standard fade-outs whatsoever!
But rather deliberate starts and ends of tracks, exquisitely keeping the album together, with the idea of actually diggin’ it from start to finish (despite being a CD release)!
More on the title: apart from the opportunity to play around with words (one of our many specialties), and touch on some sci-fi we’d hardly ever approached,
it was also a worthy tribute to Admiral Eddie B. Kirk, who left the bridge for desk duties – he’s an even bigger Space: 1999 fan than he is Star Trek!
We’re still alive, and so is the album! We’re regularly performing quite a few tracks, and will of course do so this year as well (check out the event section)
And, we’ll keep on refilling and firing the very same vodka super soaker pictured on the inner sleeve and back cover! Congratulations to all of you and all of us!
How do you remember the album?
Relive (in correct order) https://sptfy.com/spock_1999 (though the streaming doesn't have all the CD details – just saying!)"

S.P.O.C.K. fb 16 Dec 2013:
" "Never Trust a Klingon" is without a doubt our greatest hit. Some think it's our only one too. Some don't even know we're the ones behind it! Some think we're covering it when playing it live!!
In 2000 our German label partners came up with the brilliant idea of making an updated re-recording of it, hoping to spread the very important message to more beings unaware of our existence. It proved to be a... hm... moderate success, at best. Well, well, we tried.
The "Klingon 2000" has never been available digital – until now, when we've come to the fourth pit stop on our Digital Cleanup Mission. You know the drill by now: totally high resolution cover (where applicable), reasonable pricing, optimized for its purpose and available at your friendly legal distributor (some examples listed below). Of all the mixes we're extra happy about the "Art of Motion" one – enjoy, and stay tuned for further escapades"

"Leg 2 of our Digital Cleanup Mission is complete – we're happy to re-present our masterpiece "2001: A S.P.O.C.K Odyssey" and its singles "Where Rockets Fly", "Queen of Space" and "Satellites"!
In a way there's nothing new about it, they've... all been digitally available for ages. But they were badly transformed into that kind of existence. So, the new sensation is that we've optimized all tracks for the digital world (they weren't correctly split), replaced the bad cover scans with ultra-high resolution originals (where applicable) and adjusted the prices logically. Finally, the amplified "Queen of Space" and all other tracks exactly as they were meant to be!
The four releases are probably available right now, or will be soon, at your preferred legal digital outlet. Provided are a few links – do feel free to go wherever human has gone before. Enjoy our best productions ever – and stay tuned for more in a not so distant future :)"

"We've released a "new" album!!
"New" in the sense that it's a new compilation, not as in "ten new tracks". Here's the story: we played at Kinetek, North America's biggest synthfestival, the other week. As our CDs have been quite hard to acquire in that part of the world, Canadian label Artoffact approached us and SubSpace Communications with the idea of a compilation. Sure, why not, a brilliant idea, so here it is: Another Piece of the Action!
As the title suggests, it's sort of a follow-up to another collection we made a long time ago. Thus, this one includes tracks released on our own label SubSpace Communications since 1996; that's three albums and a bunch of singles. Most of these are in fact out of print and some aren't released digitally at all, so perhaps it's something for fans outside North America as well. We do emphasize that this one is aimed at that territory; we don't wanna release a compilation just to earn a few extra bucks by ripping people off with crap (though you of course are entitled to view it as crap :)
The package has been remastered and especially the "Assignment: Earth" tracks have gained by that process. There's a CD available, a limited edition digipak, with an embossed cover for 3D space roving adventures. There's a super limited double clear vinyl, with totally different artwork, in the making; it's been delayed but we'll keep you up to speed. And, of course, the album is available as download as well.
Choosing the tracks wasn't an easy task; there are as many opinions as there are aliens. After loads of kill your darlings, we decided to present it as if it were a live show, focusing on the action we're so good at, while still keeping a balance between the different releases. We ended up with 18 tracks and almost 80 minutes of music – that's what you can fit in on a CD. Maximum efficiency :)
As stated, it's meant for North America, but we did actually bring a few CDs back to planet Sweden, making them available for Scandinavia as well. As for other parts of the world, there's no prober distribution set up, but it seems as if it's possible to obtain it through assorted import record shops, though it's of course possible to order it from any place around the world nowadays. And, of course, through any digital download shop.
It's impossible for us to know all the places to buy at, that you know better than us, but we do know a few:
