Stream and download: https://songwhip.com/art-of-silence/troubled-seas https://songwhip.com/art-of-silence/upgrade Following last month's cover version of WAR's Low Rider (which one listener decreed as "to the Art of Silence catalogue what Peter Gunn is to Art of Noise's"), take a listen to JJ Jeczalik's digital distillation project at its most chilled with Troubled Seas, and at its most hyper with Upgrade. Chill out, from May 1997, Hyperactivity, from April 1997. Troubled Seas and Upgrade are out now via Axiomattic Records/Let it Beep Recordings."

Stream and download: https://songwhip.com/art-of-silence/low-rider Low Rider is the Art of Silence summer pop hit anthem that never was. The B-side of the single - originally scheduled for release on 01 July 1997 - is another unheard track, For 2 Long (Inversion). Low Rider is out now via Axiomattic Records/Let it Beep Recordings. 2. Beat Box 8.40
  3. Close (To the Edit) 4.04 (Let It Beep (Recordings) Ltd.)
The date 8 Dec 1997 is given on amazon.co.uk. Art of Silence facebook info 1 Dec 2021: "Devote the first day of the month to silence. Out today: Art of Silence Plays the Art of Noise. JJ Jeczalik's 90s present taking on his 80s past, finally released in the 20s... Play: https://ffm.to/silenceplaysnoise The three songs covered by Art of Silence - JJ Jeczalik's mid-90s electro-filtration plant - are...: a glitched-out sideways glance at Moments in Love... a faithfully-arranged but entirely deconstructed Beat Box... and a hands-in-the-air affair with Close (To The Edit). All three tracks were originally scheduled to be released on Axiomattic Records in December of 1997 as a prelude to the third, mythically lost Art of Silence album, Dot Dot Dot. Only Beat Box has been heard before - on the infamous The Abduction Of The Art of Noise compilation. On the AoN timeline, this single would have appeared just months before Art of Noise returned with the Born Again and Dream On EPs in the summer and winter of the following year. 'Art of Silence Plays the Art of Noise' is out now via Axiomattic Records/Let it Beep Recordings."

(31 Dec 2021) retrospective digital album DOT DOT DOT [Planned third album 8 (?) Dec 1997]

  8. Moments in Love 4.35
  9. Dot Dot Dot 1.46
  10. Blast from the Past 1.04 (Let It Beep (Recordings) Ltd.)
The date 8 Dec 1997 is given on amazon.co.uk. Art of Silence facebook info 1 Jan 2022: "Devote the first day of the month to silence. Out today: Dot Dot Dot, the final Art of Silence album. Lost, found, remastered and restored to a digital platform near you: https://ffm.to/dotdotdotdotdotdot JJ Jeczalik's late-90s EDM filtration plant, Art of Silence recorded three albums although only one was released at the time. First came Dot UK (which arrived on digital platforms last May with an accompanying album of bonus material, Dot DAT). Dot IQ followed, focusing on AoS's pop sensibilities with its cover of WAR's Low Rider. Dot Dot Dot points to where the project would have gone next, and how it would have concluded: channeling analogue electro and fusing it with increasingly rawk-guitar. Take, for example, the tearful opening instrumental Goodbye Silence. The project's 3-track Plays The Art of Noise EP is also included. As is the follow-up to Dot UK's 'Giant trilogy', the 'Blast trilogy. The Spiritual High mixes of Dot IQ's Fragments and Troubled Seas are referenced and concluded with the original Spiritual High track alongside its companion piece Spiritual Return. The album was originally scheduled to be released on Axiomattic Records in December of 1997 at almost the exact same time as Art Of Noise's Born Again and Dream On EPs, the original editions of which may be released digitally very soon. 'Dot Dot Dot' is out now via Axiomattic Records/Let it Beep Recordings."
