THE PLANETS

& various Steve Lindsey projects

Feb/March 1978 7" Mr. Average: Mr. Average

Mr Average 2.30 / Mr Average Goes to Nashville 3.10 (Warner Brothers K17111)
Steve Lindsey's debut single. Produced by Rob Dickens/Steve Lindsey.

(11 Aprill 2005) UK coll-CD THE KORGIS KOLLECTION

The first version. Recorded for The Korgis in Sep 1978.

Steve Lindsey told me 17 April 2006: "Just to clarify, I wasn't really in the Korgis. My publisher at the time suggested that I meet the guys and do some demos with them with a view to forming a new band. We got on well but I didn't fancy moving to their town, Bath, and also wanted to pursue a slightly rougher sound. I was delighted to see them do well. I might have had some regrets if the Planets hadn't achieved a bit of success!"
